Due to a partnership between the Chamber of Commerce of Cosenza and the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Canada, , a series of promotional activities dedicated to consumers have been organized throughout 2012. The activities will offer Quebec consumers the opportunity to discover authentic agri food products produced in the province of Cosenza (Calabria) and available in various points of sale here in Quebec.

Consentino menu tasting during the Italian Week

which is going to tale place in the Little Italy from 17^th-19^th August 2012.

The Italian Week in Montreal is a big cultural festival which annually takes place in the city and attracts an average of 500.000 visitors.

The Italian Chamber of Commerce will attend as an exhbitor displaying typical products the 17^th, 18^th and 19^th August in Little Italy. During these three days, visitors strolling through the festival will be able to taste cosentino products already on the market. The public will be informed on how to use the products, how to cook the products with new recipies and where the products can be found and bought. Moreover, during this three day festival, several restaurants in Little Italy will offer a typical cosentino menu.

The products which will be offered during the tasting are:

• ALPA - chesnut based jams and marmelades
• Pastificcio Pirro - handmade pasta
• La Cosentina - dried figs
• San Vincenzo - fresh and aged cold meat cuts such as pork, pork, pancetta,etc.
